Dudley United won their second game in a row after defeating reigning premier Kingscote by 17 points during round five action in the Kangaroo Island Football League (KIFL) yesterday. Sam Willson kicked six goals in a best-on-ground performance for Dudley United as his side won 11.9 (75) to 8.10 (58). Other good players for the Eagles included Toby Wheaton, Keenan Jacobs, Brody Florance and Dylan Bunney. Jack Donkersley was a standout up forward for Kingscote with five goals, while their better players were Paul Green, Jack Grimes, Zak Edwards, Tyson Holman and Lachie Ingerson.
Western Districts continued their undefeated start to the season with a comprehensive 92-point victory at Parndana. The Saints led throughout to win 18.11 (119) to 3.9 (27). Skipper Lleyton Hedges kicked five goals for Western Districts, while Justin Carey kicked two goals for the Roosters. Best players for the Saints included Dylan Lockett, Thomas Schmidt, Hedges, Tye Boyle and Jordan Whittle. Zach Trethewey, Jack Sexton and Eli Kuchel were among the best players for Parndana.
