Meet our lovable Pets of the Week. They are looking for their forever homes thanks to the RSPCA Lonsdale Shelter.
Duke and Pringle are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week. These loving animals are waiting to find their perfect family. If you think that could be you, read more about them below.
Dog of the Week – Duke
Are you looking for the pawfect Netflix companion? Look no further than RSPCA South Australia’s Lonsdale shelter.
This handsome gentle giant is Duke (AID 185290). He a big, goofy boy with a heart of gold who loves to snuggle up with his favourite humans and be showered with affection.
Duke will soon undergo surgery on his legs and urgently requires a loving and quiet home on a permanent or long-term foster basis, where he can receive all the attention he deserves as he focusses on his recovery.
He would be well suited to a caring family and is open to living with another dog, but please bring your dog in to meet him first. This delightful cuddle bug would prefer not to share his home with cats or small pets.
As always, RSPCA SA’s dog-care team will be there every step of the way to support Duke’s recovery.
Read more about Duke and learn how to adopt him.

Cat of the Week – Pringle
This sight for sore eyes (seriously look at those eyes!) is Pringle (AID 187747) and he’s currently living at RSPCA South Australia’s Lonsdale shelter.
Unlike the chip, Pringle is the sweetest cat you’ll ever meet.
One-year-old Pringle can be a little shy around unfamiliar faces, but it doesn’t take him long to warm up to new people. Once he does, he’ll be the best cat companion you could ever ask for.
Pringle would love to live in a quiet home where he can relax and enjoy the company of his loved ones.
Other pets at home? No worries! Pringle is open to sharing his furever home with other fur-friends, but please provide a slow introduction to ensure a smooth transition.
