The City of Victor Harbor will hold listening posts across the district over the next two weeks to make an early start on consultation for its annual budgeting process.

The council is changing the way it involves the community in preparing its annual budget, introducing an early engagement period to understand local priorities.

It says the early consultation period will enable the community to have input before the formal budget preparation starts.

Listening posts will be held at the following dates and locations:

• Thursday 16 November - Victor Central Shopping Centre 10am to 2pm.
• Saturday 18 November - Victor Harbor Farmers' Market, Grosvenor Gardens, 8am to 11am.
• Tuesday 21 November - Ocean Street (Near the post office), 10am to 12pm.
• Wednesday 22 November - Victor Harbor Library, Civic Centre, 4pm to 6pm.

Anyone who wants to have a say but can’t attend a listening post can do so online.
