Following the Deep Creek Bushfire, many in the community are thinking about how prepared they are for future emergencies.

To support local residents, the Australian Red Cross will deliver two free EmergencyRedi Workshops in Yankalilla, designed to help residents prepare for extreme weather events and their consequences.

They will be held in Yankalilla Library on Friday 20 February from 6pm to 7.30pm and on Thursday 26 February from 1pm to 2.30pm.

EmergencyRedi is a practical, beginner-friendly workshop that provides an introduction to emergency preparedness. 

The workshops guide through the key steps of planning ahead and how to develop a personalised emergency plan.
