Construction works are underway to improve one of the busiest sections of the Encounter Bikeway between Kent Reserve and Oakham Street, Encounter Bay.

The project involves widening and resurfacing of the current pathway to make it safer for all users. 

Over the next few weeks the current asphalt will be removed and the surface will be prepared for the new asphalt to be laid.

The works will take approximately five weeks to complete and a temporary pathway and traffic management treatments have been put in place for the duration of the project.
