Spring is in the air and it’s time to venture into the garden to get ready for the City of Onkaparinga Mayor's Garden Competition.

The competition is open to all residents, community groups, businesses, schools, and budding young gardeners in six categories: 

• Community garden
• School garden
• Urban residential garden
• Native garden
• Rural garden
• Memorial garden.

Nominations close on Friday 20 September with judging taking place between 24–25 October.

Winners will be announced at a civic reception on Monday 4 November.
