Adelaide Crows sharpshooter Taylor Walker will the guest speaker at an Escape the Vape workshop in Yankalilla on Wednesday 9 August.

Yankalilla Area School principal Christine Bell will facilitate the workshop, aimed at young people aged from 10 to 18.

The former Crows captain and current leading goalkicker will speak about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and understanding the impact of peer pressure.

The workshop will include a fishbowl discussion, to allow the young people attending to have their say.

It will run from 6pm to 7pm and offers door prizes; bookings essential by calling Yankalilla Area School on 8558 0888.

The event is supported by the District Council of Yankalilla and the local football, hockey and netball clubs, as well as the school.
