Onkaparinga Council has identified the playground at the reserve on the Esplanade at Port Noarlunga South for an upgrade.

It has developed a concept plan that includes new tree planting, an extended irrigated turf area and new barrier fencin.

There will also be a new coastal themed play space, additional seating and permanent umbrellas to provide shade. 

The council is asking for community feedback on the concept plan via an online survey or at a drop-in Q&A session at the park.

The session will be held on Thursday 26 October from 4pm to 5.30pm.

Council expects to to complete the upgrade in the 2024-25 financial year, provided it is approved through the City of Onkaparinga’s annual budget process.
