Willunga Environment Centre will host acclaimed author Dr Jake M Robinson to discuss his latest book, Treewilding, next Tuesday 4 February.
Treewilding - Our Past, Present and Future Relationship with Forests takes a fascinating journey through the history and future of humanity’s relationship with trees.
It tackles the complexities, controversies, and challenges of forest restoration, presenting innovative solutions through a blend of modern science and traditional knowledge.
Treewilding is Dr Robinson’s second science book, designed to inspire a new generation to restore forests responsibly and deepen their connection to nature.
His first book, Invisible Friends, explores the world of microbiology and how it sustains life.
A microbial and restoration ecologist at Flinders University, he is on a mission to protect and restore nature while promoting the health of both people and the planet.
The books will be available for purchase at the event, which will run from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Reserve a place via Humanitix.
