Flagstaff Hill won their fifth Southern Football League Women’s (SFLW) ‘A’ grade premiership after a 43-point win over reigning premiers Port Noarlunga at Magain Stadium yesterday. The game was tight in the first half with ‘Flaggies’ holding a slender five-point buffer at the long break. It was all Flagstaff Hill after halftime as they kicked seven goals to one to win 10.8 (68) to 3.7 (25). Angela Rose (3) and Rachel Crockart (2) were the multiple goalkickers for the Falcons, while Shanika Roberts-Yeend kicked two goals for ‘Porties’. Best players for Flagstaff Hill included Emma Hodgson, Ebony Scanlan, Rose, Tiana Lush, Abbie Butler and Melanie Koster. Best for Port Noarlunga were Nicole Campbell, Zoe Flesfadar, Maddy Craggs, Eilish O’Hanlon, Roberts-Yeend and Millie Beens. 



In the other Sunday grand finals, Aldinga won the under 17 girls premiership after defeating Port Noarlunga by 15 points, Reynella won the under 14 girls over Morphett Vale by 15 points, Aldinga won the ‘C’ grade Men’s flag with a 28-point win against Happy Valley, while Reynella won the under 15 boys grand final by 18 points against Port Noarlunga.
