If you’ve been a regular at Mullygrubb and Ogre Brewing Co get down there tomorrow morning between 6 and 9am for your final chance to say goodbye and grab a last coffee.
Sean, Imogen, Alan and Matt have posted today that Mullygrub will be closed after five years of trading and Ogre Brewing after being open for 18 months.
“It’s been a hard decision, but ultimately one we had to make," they wrote.
“It saddens us that it has come to an end; but the financial, mental & physical stress of running two businesses through Covid (particularly the 2nd & 3rd waves) has finally worn through.”
“We cannot thank our amazing community enough for all the support through these tough times. We’ve loved serving the McLaren Vale community & beyond. Our heads are held high, and look back proudly on what we’ve achieved.
“We’re looking forward to having the time to get out and support & enjoy other hospitality businesses in the region.
“This Saturday, we will open up the cafe between 6am & 9am for takeaway coffees to hopefully say goodbye to some of our regulars.
“We invite you all to join us - hopefully we’ll be able to finish on a high note.
“It’s now time to enjoy our young families, as they grow. Goodbye for now.
“Love, Sean, Imogen, Alan, Matt, Team Mullygrub & Team Ogre.”
