The second round of the South Australian Regional Capability Community Fund is now open.

The fund has been established to improve community safety and capability to respond to fire emergencies. 

It will reimburse farmers and farming businesses to purchase equipment to support the safe use of Farm Fire Units. 

In round two priority will be given to applicants who were unsuccessful or did not apply in the first funding round.

Grants allocated in round two will range from $200 to $3000 of reimbursement of a farm firefighting unit.

The closing date for applications is Friday 4 August.
