Organised by Landscapes Hills and Fleurieu and hosted by renowned broadcaster Leigh Radford OAM, the seminar provided hands-on insights into the evolving agricultural landscape. Attendees explored key topics including the Australian Agricultural Sustainability Framework, green finance options, and opportunities in carbon and biodiversity markets.
“There is increasing demand for regenerative produce, and farmers who demonstrate commitment to environmental sustainability may have a market advantage,” said Bonnie Armour, Carbon Farming and Soil Extension Officer at Landscapes Hills and Fleurieu.
Through panel discussions, Q&As, and networking over dinner, participants heard from leading sustainability strategists, agribusiness consultants, and financiers. The event equipped farmers with tools and knowledge to make confident steps toward profitable and resilient land stewardship.
Organisers say the message was clear: environmental responsibility and farm profitability now go hand in hand.
