Whatever the weather it will be hot hot hot in Willunga next weekend, Saturday and Sunday 18 and 19 February, when the annual Chilli Fest is on.
All things chilli will be celebrated with market stalls with chilli products galore, tastings, chilli-related demonstrations and how to grow them.
Check out the chilli filled Festival Hall, with growers and producers inspired by their love of chillies, selling sauces, jams, pastes, pickles, condiments, oils and more.
Presentations include cooking demonstrations and talks on the history and origins of chillies in Australia and around the world.
Outside is a shaded garden area to cool down with a local craft beer, wine, sangria, and enjoy chilli inspired food, accompanied by local live music.
The hot stuff is on each day from 10am to 4pm at Willunga Recreation Park; tickets are $10 or $15 for a two-day pass; children under 16 are free. Book via Humantix.
