Mount Compass Area School will hold a Festival of the Arts on Friday 25 November to celebrate the work of its students and teachers.

The exhibition will include pieces from students of the Kinder all the way up to Year 12. 

As well as the art on display, the fun-filled community event will offer free face painting, activities to create and take home a piece of art, a silent auction and awards. 

Food will be available for purchase, including sausages, baked potatoes, nachos, chips, drinks and baked goods. 

All money raised from the event will go towards purchasing some much needed seating and cover in the outdoor canteen area.

The aim is to create a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere for students to eat, work and play.

The school would also like to build a new playground.

The Mount Compass Area School Festival of the Arts will run from 5pm to 8pm. It is free to attend, with tickets available from Humantix.

The students and teachers have been working hard throughout the year and would love the community to go along and see their creations.
