The annual Fleurieu Film Festival features short films from aspiring filmmakers around South Australia and beyond.

This year the festival has introduced a new award to encourage local talent.

The Focus on the Fleurieu Award provides a special recognition for filmmakers who create their cinematic masterpieces in the Fleurieu Region.

The closing date for entries to the film festival is 4 December.

Emerging, student, and early career filmmakers are invited to submit short films and take a step into the world of cinema. 

This is an opportunity to showcase local talent and creativity on the big screen.

Films will be screened at the awards night in the gardens of the McLaren Vale Visitor Centre on Saturday 3 February 2024.

The family-friendly event will also feature live music food trucks to enjoy before the sun sets, followed by a screening under the stars.

The Fleurieu Film Festival is supported by the City of Onkaparinga.
