Alexandrina Council will host a free screening of the film 2040 as part of its community engagement in planning for the next 20 years.
The documentary will screen at Centenary Hall on Saturday 22 February from 2pm.
In this hopeful look at the future, filmmaker Damon Gameau travels the world to explore what the future could look like by the year 2040 if we simply embrace the best solutions already available to improve our planet and shift them into the mainstream.
The film has been described as an optimists guide to saving the world.
