Aldinga Library will host a free session - Meditation is For Everyone – next Tuesday 20 September.
Find a way to develop a peaceful mind and start to reduce the experience of problems and stress.
Buddhist Nun Gen Tsalden will explore how to use meditation to improve health and wellbeing.
Her talk will be based on the book How to Transform Your Life, by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
It will explore how to use meditation to improve resilience in daily life and how this in turn can improve concentration, relationships, health and wellbeing.
Participants will learn how to do a simple breathing meditation, one that can be done anywhere, anytime as a way to integrate a bit of peace into daily life.
The talk will take place between 1pm and 2.30pm and the book will be available to buy for $23.95 via Eftpos.
