Spring is taking its time appearing this year, but the school holidays arrive next week and there is plenty on offer for families across the Fleurieu.

Onkaparinga Youth offers a Dungeons & Dragons workshop for ages 12-17 at the Studio 20 Youth Centre. Cost $10 – register online.

Alexandrina Libraries hosts a free Bird Talk for Kids, introducing some common local birds, where to find them and how join in the Aussie Bird Count from 17-23 October.

McLaren Vale Central shopping centre offers free kids pot decorating and planting activity in front of Romeo's.
Friday 7 October, 2pm to 4pm.

Victor Harbor library’s Sow Grow Eat Repeat program offers special school holiday activities for the kids.
The nature-based events start with Magic Harvest the play on Saturday 1 October and offer the chance to learn about bees, bugs, birds and worms.
