COVID-19 has limited the scale and scope of many school holiday programs this summer, but there is still fun to be found across the Fleurieu.


Here is what is on for the kids in Fleurieu libraries next week, from 4-10 January.


GOOLWA

Goolwa Library, 11 Cadell Street.


Tuesday 5 January

Crazy Hat Day – Drop in any time. FREE. No booking required.

Use your imagination and make a crazy hat using craft materials supplied. Adult supervision required.


Thursday 7 January

Roaming Crochet - 9am–12noon. FREE. No bookings required.

Suitable for all ages. Children 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Lovers and learners of crochet will come together in places across Alexandrina.  No experience necessary. Take your own hook and yarn; some materials supplied. An expert yarn smith will facilitate the first gathering under colourful umbrellas on Cadell Street. 



STRAHALBYN

Strathalbyn Library, 1 Colman Terrace.

Sun Catchers - 10-11am. FREE. Bookings Essential. 

Suitable for ages 5 and above.

Create your own design or use one supplied to brighten up your room with a sun catcher.

Tuesday 5 January


Hug Your Mug - 2.30-3.30pm. Free. Suitable for all ages.

Design your own mug to take home.


Wednesday 6th January


Bird Fun - 2.30pm - 3.30pm. Free. Suitable for all ages.

Create your own birds with modelling clay and feathers. 


Bookings essential for each event. One booking per family per event. Limited places. Parental supervision is required at all events. Book via email or via Eventbrite



ONKAPARINGA

The City of Onkaparinga will offer Indoor craft and storytime and outdoor activities such as creating mandalas on the beach and taking a guided reef ramble.
