Flaggies & Porties set for rematch in Southern Women's Football

Flagstaff Hill won their way through to the Southern Football League Women’s (SFLW) Grand Final after a thrilling two-point win over Cove at Bice Oval today. The Falcons’ win sets up a rematch with reigning premiers Port Noarlunga at Magain Stadium next Sunday. ‘Flaggies’ started strongly to lead by 17 points at quarter time, before Cove reduced the margin to nine points at the last change. The Cobras kicked two goals to one in the last term, but Flagstaff Hill prevailed 3.7 (25) to 3.5 (23). Jessica Couch kicked two goals for the victors, while their best players were Angela Rose, Tiana Lush, Sasha Nancarrow, Brooke May, Ebony Scanlan and Sienna Aldridge. Meanwhile, best players for the Cobras included Hayley Donnell, Naomi Jones, Lauren Kenny, Jaime Norup, Jemima Buss and Georgia Hayford.
