Flagstaff Hill to begin Southern Football League in pursuit of a sixth straight flag

The Southern Football League (SFL) season kicks off tomorrow with the ‘A’ grade competition returning to a nine-team, 18-round season with Aldinga back in the ranks after spending 2020 in ‘B’ grade.

Flagstaff Hill continued their dominance of the SFL with an undefeated 2020 campaign which culminated in a 66-point grand final victory over Noarlunga to give them a fifth straight ‘A’ grade flag. Christies Beach and an improved Morphett Vale were the other teams to play finals in 2020. Port Noarlunga, Reynella, Happy Valley, Cove and the returning Aldinga will all look to push for finals action in 2021.

Round 1 (Home team named first)

Aldinga v Cove

Christies Beach v Noarlunga

Flagstaff Hill v Morphett Vale

Reynella v Port Noarlunga

Happy Valley has the bye
