Life is really tough for small business at the moment, but local businesses on the Fleurieu coast are determined to battle through.
They are going beyond the increased hygiene and social distancing measures, to continue to serve their customers.
While many Fleurieu Coast restaurants and cafes already offer takeaway options, some are boosting their offering.
In addition to their regular service, Lady Bay Hotel has their full menu available for takeaway while Yankalilla Hotel has extended its takeaway options.
Smiling Samoyed Brewery and One Little Sister Café are offering take away delivered direct to your car. Give them a call, place your order and pay by phone, tell them where you’re parked and they’ll deliver with a smile.
In addition to offering coffee deliveries between Yankalilla and Carrickalinga, the 21 Junk Street Van now have take-home meals available.
Mare Bello Pizza Bar is open for takeaway as usual. They have temporarily closed their in-house dining, introducing delivery options instead.
Normanville Kiosk and Café has introduced a special menu for takeaway and delivery from the kiosk window.
Small businesses in the district are saying they are very much open for business and need your support.
When you are heading out, please call in and buy local. If you’re feeling restless, get out and explore the natural beauty of the Fleurieu Coast; it’s great for perspective and clean air.
