A combination of extreme weather and a technology fail spoiled the party for the annual Fleurieu Film Festival gala screening in February.
Although the finalists were honoured and awards given out, the winning short films could not be shown at the outdoor event held at McLaren Vale & Fleurieu Coast Visitor Centre.
To make up for the disappointment to both filmmakers and cinema lovers the Festival has arranged three sessions for the finalist films to be shown in comfort and on a very big screen.
The 1.5 hour sessions will feature 17 short films that encompass comedy, drama, documentary and music.
They will be at Victa Cinema in Victor Harbor on Saturday 29 March, Wallis Cinemas Noarlunga on Friday 4 April and The Mercury Cinema in Adelaide on Saturday 12 April.
Tickets cost $12, with free entry for non-refunded ticket holders, using the original booking code. Booking and screening information is on the Fleurieu Film Festival website.
Full details of the awards and finalists can also be found on the Fleurieu Film Festival website.
