The Fleurieu Peninsula and Kangaroo Island are well represented among finalists in the SA Premier's Food & Beverage Awards.
Harvest the Fleurieu, Never Never Distilling Co, Kangaroo Island Fresh Garlic, Yumbah Aquaculture, The Queen’s Cut Honey Co, Feather & Peck and Paris Creek Farms are all in the running for awards.
Kangaroo Island’s Yumbah Aquaculture is a finalist in four award categories: Business Excellence, Export, Mental Health and Wellbeing, and Sustainability.
Willunga egg producers Feather & Peck are also up for the Business Excellence and the Sustainability awards, while Harvest the Fleurieu and Paris Creek Farms are finalists in the Mental Health and Wellbeing Award.
George Georgiadis, of Never Never Distilling Co, is in the running for an individual Leader award.
Jake Leske, of Echunga’s The Queen’s Cut Honey Co, is a finalist for the Next Generation award.
Feather & Peck and Kangaroo Island Fresh Garlic have been named in the Consumer Award Top 20.
Winners will be announced at the awards gala dinner to be held on 11 November, along with the industry nominated Education and Training Award and the 2022 Hall of Fame inductee.
