The Fleurieu Folk Festival Committee has made the difficult decision to cancel its 2021 event, scheduled for 17-17 October.

Instead it will hold three separate music events, starting with a full day, single venue concert on Saturday 16 October.

It is the second year in a row that COVID has forced cancellation of the festival.

The Committee says its decision results from current travel restrictions and mandated requirements of the SA Health COVID Management Plan. 

“Consequently, it is not feasible to present a large three-day multi-staged event at this time.”

The Fleurieu Folk Day will be held from 10am to 10pm at Willunga Rec Park.

Included on the day will be performances from the Judith Crossley Memorial Songwriting Award winner and the Peter Thornton Memorial Award presentation.
