Willunga will host the annual Fleurieu Folk Festival, with a 12-hour musical extravaganza, next Friday 25 October.

The festival has been reduced to a one-day event this year due to a pause in grant funding, but will still feature some of the state’s finest and most talented musicians.

It covers a broad range of genres, focusing on traditional and contemporary folk and Celtic but also including Americana, bluegrass and more.

There will be workshops, dancers, jam sessions and blackboard concerts, musical theatre, poetry, spoken word and children’s entertainment, local food and market stalls.

Willunga oval is not available for camping this year, due to construction works.
