SA Libraries will celebrate a festival of firsts during July with a huge range of activities for adults and kids and Fleurieu libraries are in on the action.

Firstival poses the question, when was the last time you did something for the first time? 

It is a reminder to reconnect with curiosity and try something different, because at any age and in any walk of life learning does wonders for wellbeing.

Onkaparinga Libraries’ diverse program includes brewing beer at Aldinga with local craft brewer Dave Peacock from Snapper Point Brewing and growing a herbal tea garden at Willunga.

Alexandrina Libraries will offer Science on Saturday at both Goolwa and Strathalbyn, suitable for ages 4-8.

Victor Harbor library has first experiences in family History, sign language, pruning fruit trees and Indian cookery, as well as a school holiday program.

Bookings are essential for most activities, with costs ranging from free to $15.
