More Fleurieu residents can access the Noarlunga Centre COVID-19 Vaccination hub following yesterday's announcement that all South Australians aged over 40 are now eligible to book appointments.
Previously the age criteria was limited to people aged 16-50 years who lived in regional council areas. This included many Fleurieu residents but appointments under this criteria were only available at regional health services.
As of Monday, the SA Health booking link was advising that the Covid Vaccination Clinic at South Coast District Hospital in Victor Harbor was not accepting online booking for new patients in the age and location related category.
The Murray Bridge Community Health clinic was accepting bookings for the under 50 group last week but is now also not accepting online bookings for new patients.
As of Monday, the earliest appointment available at the Mount Barker clinic for on 8 September.
Fleurieu residents in a regional council area aged between 16-40 remain eligible but will still have to attend one of these centres.
Residents aged over 50 or who qualify due to medical or work related reasons are able to book their vaccine appointment within days at local GP clinics or can also book a slot at the Noarlunga Centre hub.
To book an appointment or for more information visit the SA Health website.
