Christmas will come early in the City of Onkaparinga with the pageant returning for the first time in three years next Sunday 20 November.

Beach Road, Christies Beach will host the pageant, followed by Christmas in the Park in Rotary Park on the corner of the Esplanade and Beach Road.

The pageant will start on the corner of Hunt Crescent and Beach Road, Christies Beach. 

Crowds can set up along Beach Road, before 10am to watch the procession of marching bands, dance groups, sporting clubs, community groups and businesses.

Santa will complete the parade and travel to Rotary Park for photo opportunities.

Temporary traffic restrictions will apply, with road closures and parking restrictions in place in and around Beach Road and the Esplanade.

Christmas in the Park will run from 10am to 1pm, celebrating the season with family activities.

These will include rock climbing, lawn games, a petting zoo and face painting.

There will also be a Christmas Market to start the Christmas shopping and loads of delicious food options.
