The Fleurieu Peninsula made a strong impression at the 2025 Best of Wine Tourism Awards, with several local businesses securing top honours.
The awards, held as part of South Australia's membership in the Great Wine Capitals Global Network, celebrate innovation and excellence in wine tourism across various categories.
Congratulations go to Beresford Estate, which won the award for Accommodation, praised for offering guests a luxurious and memorable stay amidst beautiful surroundings.
Dandelion Vineyards took home the prize for Architecture and Landscape, recognised for the stunning design of its Wonder Room, which captures breathtaking views of McLaren Vale.
McLaren Vale Distillery earned the accolade for Innovative Wine Tourism Experiences by creatively showcasing Australia’s history of fortified wines, while Kimbolton Wines was a joint winner in the Wine Tourism Services category, celebrated for providing inclusive and diverse experiences in Langhorne Creek.
These victories are not just local achievements but also a step onto the global stage, as the winners will now represent South Australia at the international Best of Wine Tourism Awards in Verona, Italy, on 24 October.
This outstanding success highlights the Fleurieu Peninsula’s growing reputation as a world-class wine tourism destination, and it’s a proud moment for the entire region.
