Police have detected three drivers committing traffic offences in the Fleurieu region over the weekend.
About 10.20pm on Friday 21 May, police stopped a driver on Lane Street at Milang and submitted him to a breath test. The driver, a 21-year-old man from the Republic of Kiribati, recorded a positive result of 0.127. He was reported for drink driving and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date. He also received a six month immediate loss of licence.
On the same night at 11.45pm, police stopped a driver on Main South Road at Normanville for a random breath test. The man recorded a positive result of 0.056. He received an on the spot fine for drink driving.
At 5.45pm on Saturday 22May, police stopped a 39-year-old man from Beaumont as he appeared to be speeding on Main South Road at Normanville. The driver submitted to a breath test and recorded a positive reading of 0.063. He received an on the spot fine for drink driving.
