The City of Victor Harbor will host a community forum on Monday 29 November as the next step in developing a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).
Based around the core pillars of relationships, respect and opportunities, the RAP will guide the council to sustainably and strategically take meaningful action to advance reconciliation.
It is working closely with cultural advisors to produce the RAP and establish a framework and vision for reconciliation in the City of Victor Harbor.
All are welcome to attend the forum and join the conversation about reconciliation in the local community.
Guest speakers will include Mark Koolmatrie, the founder of Kool Tours and Tribal Expertise Facility; Shona Reid, Chief Executive Officer of Reconciliation SA; and Sarah Mack, Director of the Port Elliot Kindergarten.
The forum will be held at the Council Chambers on Bay Road from 4pm to 6pm and drinks and nibbles will be available in the Civic Centre foyer following the event.
RSVP to the City of Victor Harbor at 8551 0500 or via email.
