Four arrested after break-in at Morphett Vale

Police have arrested four men after a break-in and theft in the southern suburbs.

It will be alleged that about 10.06pm on Thursday 19 September a house on States Road was broken into by four men, who stole jewellery and other items from inside the property.

In the early hours of Friday 20 September, police stopped a car in Edwardstown and found items from the break-in inside the car.

A 32-year-old man from Christie Downs was arrested at the scene.

As a result of further investigation the three other suspects were identified soon after.

Officers from Southern District CIB, patrols and STAR Group went to a house in Christies Beach today and arrested the three outstanding suspects, a 19-year-old man from Narrung, a 23-year-old man from Brompton and a 26-year-old man from Christie Downs.

All four men were refused bail and will appear in court on Monday.
