Four arrested in stolen car at Hindmarsh Valley

Four youths were arrested after crashing a stolen car on Victor Harbor Road, Hindmarsh Valley today.

About 9.15am Wednesday 28 January, an off-duty police member spotted a stolen Ford ute being driven in Nairne. The car had been stolen from a Morphett Vale address earlier today.

PolAir responded and tracked the vehicle. Police successfully spiked the ute's tyres on Victor Harbor Road.

The driver of the Mercedes was not injured.

A 16-year-old Morphett Vale boy, a 16-year-old Mount Barker boy, a 16-year-old Nairne boy and a 14-year-old Campbelltown girl were all charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle.

The stolen car was towed from the scene for forensic examination.
