As the new year begins, women across the Fleurieu are being encouraged to prioritise their health, with BreastScreen SA offering free breast screening in McLaren Vale throughout January.
The BreastScreen SA mobile screening unit will be available from 6 January to 2 February 2026, providing free breast screening for women aged 40 and over, with women aged 50 to 74 especially encouraged to book.
Regular breast screening can detect breast cancer early — often before symptoms appear — when treatment is most effective.
The mobile unit will be located in the car park behind McLaren Vale Hospital, with entry via Gate 3, at Aldersey Street.
