It's tax return time and the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) provides a free Tax Help program, to assist eligible people earning $60,000 or less lodge their tax return online.

Community volunteers, trained and accredited by the ATO, supply a free and confidential service to help people who have simple tax affairs.

There are several locations on the Fleurieu available to book in for tax help sessions from this week until the end of October.

Yankalilla library will host 1-hour individual Tax Help sessions every Wednesday between 10am and 2pm.

Seaford Community Centre is another host location, on Thursdays between 9.15am and 1pm. Call the centre at Beechwood Grove on 8386 3319 to book.

In Victor Harbor, tax help is available on Mondays at Finniss MP David Basham’s electorate office in Victoria Street.

Call the Finniss office staff ton 8552 2152 to discuss eligibility and make an appointment.
