The Fringe Festival will return to the Fleurieu and Kangaroo Island with a host of shows, free family events and a Mount Compass based rock festival.
The Mount Moon Rock Festival will be held on Saturday 19 February at the Mount Compass Hotel from 2pm and promises to take people back in time to the days of Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple and The Doors.
Shingleback Wines in McLaren Vale will also host a nostalgic music festival on the March long weekend with the Ten Years Gone ’65 – ’75 Class Rock Show.
Strathalbyn’s Chapel Theatre will host the cabaret style musical variety show The Strath Sound Factory.
Featuring local musicians Sam Hissey, Willow Prusa and Robbie Andrew, the show is bound to be a hit with Sam’s mum giving it a five-star rating and classing it as ‘pretty good’.
There are three shows across the first weekend in March. Ticket prices start at $15 and it’s a great opportunity to support local talent.
Victor Harbor and Goolwa will both host free family days on Sunday 27 February and Sunday 13 March respectively. No bookings are required for the Warland Reserve and Goolwa RSL Garden events.
Victor Harbor Town Hall will host the award winning An Andrews Sisters Tribute on the evening of Friday 18 March and The 60 Four on Saturday 19 March.
