Easter is done and dusted but the school holidays run for another week and there is plenty to see and do around the Fleurieu.
Here are just a few examples of the free and low cost activities available:
Aldinga
Travel the mind author event - A guided meditation story for children on Thursday 28 April 6pm to 7pm. An evening Storytime event with hot chocolate at Aldinga library. Ages 5+ Book via Eventbrite.
Alexandrina
Paper wigs, night lights, mandalas and theatre sports are among the themes of activities at Alexandrina Libraries in Goolwa and Strathalbyn on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Check out the details and book in at Eventbrite.
Goolwa
School Holidays Basketball Shoot Around – Tuesday 26 & Thursday 281,1pm to 3pm at Goolwa Sports Stadium. Cost: Gold coin donation. No bookings required.
The Alphabet of Awesome Science show will be at Centenary Hall on Wednesday 27 April 2pm to 3pm. All ages. Tickets $12. Bookings and Enquiries to Events Alexandrina.
Onkaparinga
The City of Onkaparinga offers arts and crafts, science and games in its libraries, including cupcake decorating and movie matinees at Willunga and Aldinga, as a well as a mountain biking adventure. Its full school holiday program is available on the council website.
Victor Harbor
Victor Harbor library offers arts, crafts, animals and comedy activities on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, including a comedy show. The full program and registration is on Eventbrite.
Willunga
Hannah from Wattle & Wonder will lead a class in nature journaling at the Willunga Environment Centre on Wednesday 27 April from10am to 12noon. Cost is $10 Book via Eventbrite.
Yankalilla
The Lolly Jar Circus will be at the Agricultural Show Hall with its free, inclusive classes on Tuesday 26 April from 2pm to 3pm. Suitable for children of all abilities aged 5 to 12. Contact Fleurieu Families to enrol.
