There is still time to submit short films for the 2021 Fleurieu Film Festival, with entries closing 23 November.
This year’s theme is ‘wild’ and full details of how to enter are on the festival website.
Finalists will be announced on 10 January and the festival screenings will take place on Saturday 13 February at Serafino Winery in McLaren Vale.
The main screening and awards night starts at 6pm and tickets are already on sale at $35 via Eventbrite.
The festival prides itself on facilitating filmmaking experiences that nurture Australia’s emerging and established filmmakers.
Screening of the short films of eight minutes or less will be accompanied by great food, wine and live entertainment.
Gather your friends and picnic under the stars, entertained by the Onkaparinga Concert Band and Saltwater Taffy, while feasting on delicious produce from food stalls, the Serafino Wine & Beer Bar and pre-booked cheese hampers.
The festival continues on Sunday 14 February with a four-hour filmmaker smartphone workshop from 10.30am to 2.30pm at the McLaren Vale and Fleurieu Coast Visitor Centre.
