Get lost on the FleurieuLakeside Retreat Mount Jagged.

The Fleurieu Peninsula is home to the first of a planned series of ‘Lost Retreats’ with the opening of Lakeside Retreat at Mount Jagged.

Actress Teresa Palmer, who has a rural retreat of her own in the Adelaide Hills, is behind the project, along with a multidisciplinary team of long-time friends.

This includes Steve Brooks, master builder Cameron Keen and award-winning architect and sustainable building specialist Damien Chwalisz.

They all share a love for stripped-back living, sustainable practices and the great outdoors, which they bring to the Lost Retreats project.

The team plans to build off grid, sustainable and self-contained dwellings around the state for short-term stays that foster harmony with the natural world.

The boutique retreats have a light footprint as a guiding principle, using repurposed, sustainable and recycled materials.

The first cab off the rank, Mount Jagged Lakeside Retreat has stunning views and is tucked away between an idyllic lake and sprawling vineyards.
