The whole family can join in a fun run around Victor Harbor’s Granite Island on Sunday 22 March.
Runners of all levels can meet the challenge of a 5.5km or 10.5km trail on this south coast landmark.
No-one is likely to set a personal best over the gravel, rocks, tram lines, or short sharp climbs, but
the lucky ones might see penguins or seals and the views are out of this world.
The event features a marked course; electronic timing with live to web results; an on-course
water station; and refreshments at the finish.
The short course is open to ages six and up, while anyone 10 and up can tackle the long course.
Children under 11 years old on race day must run with a responsible adult within reach at all times.
The long course start time is 8am, while the short course starts 10 minutes later.
The cut off for timing finishes at 10am. More leisurely runners should give way to the horse tram.
Medals will be awarded to the first three male and female finishers for both courses.
