Gardeners wanting to reduce or eliminate the use of chemicals can join an organic gardening workshop at Victor Harbor library on Friday 31 March.
Alan Shepard won a Sustainable Gardens Awards competition in 2018 and he will discuss how to have a healthy, chemical-free garden.
He will cover enriching the soil, natural pest management, weeding options, crop rotation and no-dig gardening.
Alan has many years of practical experience in establishing community, school and organic gardens across Adelaide and coordinating primary school garden programs.
He presents school talks and workshops for KESAB on setting up successful composting systems and worm farms and advises in these fields at sites.
This free session will run from 2pm to 3.30pm; book a Mobile eTicket online.
