Victor Harbor VIEW Club will host its annual International Women's Day breakfast at Encounter Bay Football Club on Friday 6 March.
Held in conjunction with Finniss MP David Basham, the event celebrates the 2026 Fleurieu Women's Community Awards, recognising the contributions of women across the Fleurieu.
Fleurieu app founder and Coastlines owner Susie Williams will be the guest speaker.
VIEW (voice, interests and education of women) Club has run the event for thirteen years, raising awareness of International Women’s Day and providing an opportunity for the community to share a meal and celebrate outstanding and inspirational local women.
International Women's Day has been running since 1911 and this year’s theme is Give to Gain.
Funds raised by the Fleurieu event will contribute to a charity of the VIEW clubs’ choosing; in the past The Smith Family and Fleurieu Community Foundation have been worthy recipients.
