A Fleurieu golf course will join the fight against cancer with a marathon golf session on Monday 6 December.

The Willunga Golf Club will take part in The Longest Day Golf Challenge, along with clubs across the state, to raise funds for the Cancer Council.

The day will run from 7am to 5pm, playing 72 holes in the ultimate golf challenge designed to test skill, strength, and stamina. 

The challenge is to successfully complete four consecutive rounds of golf from dawn to dusk and raise funds for Cancer Council’s research, prevention, and support services.

Golfers can choose a long day of 36 holes, a longer day of 54 holes, or the ultimate challenge of the longest day of 72 holes.
