Great Southern Netball Association (League) - Round 16
Goolwa confirmed their finals berth with an excellent 12-goal win over second placed Willunga at Goolwa on Saturday. The 44-32 win sees Goolwa consolidate third position and they still have an outside chance of securing the coveted double chance from Willunga if they win their last two games and Willunga lose their last two encounters.
Victor Harbor continued their undefeated season with a comprehensive 57-32 victory at home against McLaren Vale The win to Victor confirms the minor premiership while McLaren Vale are clinging on to fourth spot by a game from Myponga but Myponga have a game in hand.
Langhorne Creek won just their fourth game of the season with a low scoring thriller at home against Mount Compass. In tough conditions the Hawks prevailed by a single goal, 26-25.
Strathalbyn notched their sixth win of the season with a comfortable 49-26 victory over bottom side Yankalilla at Strathalbyn. The Roosters sit three points outside the top four but only have one game remaining this season so will unfortunately miss out on finals action after finishing fourth last year.
Myponga had the bye.
