Wisanger won through to the Kangaroo Island Football League (KIFL) Grand Final after a 12-point win over Kingscote in the Preliminary Final at Parndana yesterday. The game was all tied up at 6.5 (41) apiece at halftime, before Wisanger came out firing in the third term, kicking six unanswered goals, to lead by 36 points at the final change. Kingscote tried hard in the final quarter, kicking seven goals to three, but the Panthers prevailed 15.7 (97) to 13.7 (85). Luke Shurven (5), Khyal Stead (4), Timmy Turner (3) and Sam Florance (2) were the multiple goalkickers for Wisanger, while skipper Paul Green kicked seven goals for Kingscote. Best players for Kingscote included Rory Lovering, Riley Puckridge, Green, Tristian Warren and Jordan Connell.
