Reigning premier McLaren Districts won their way through to the Grand Final after a tough 11-point victory over Yankalilla/Encounter Bay in the Great Southern Football League (GSFL) ‘A’ Grade Women’s preliminary final at Victor Harbor yesterday. McLaren Districts will take on undefeated minor premier Willunga in the decider at Willunga on Sunday (17/8). Abby Woodward kicked two goals for the Eagles, while their best players were Layla Rogers, Ally Bailey, Caitlin Ross, Mia Hamilton, Charlotte Watson and Kiera Harvey. Best players for a gallant Stingrays outfit included Rhiannon Gaythwaite-Cotton, Jaimi Griffen, Kelesha Rewiti-Edwards, Czenya Cavouras, Halle James and Achol Agany.
