Local sporting clubs and community groups can access grants from the Active Club Program, which helps clubs promote active lifestyles.

The aim of the program is to support active recreation, sport and recreational fishing clubs by funding development of programs and services provided to South Australian communities.

Funding can be used for a diverse range of club needs, including recreation equipment, uniforms or protective gear, medical equipment and training, promotion, technology and professional development or training. 

There are two streams of funding available: one for clubs with fewer than 100 members and on for clubs with more than 100 members.

Smaller clubs can access grants of $1500, while larger clubs can apply for $3000.
