Two Aldinga projects were among 37 recipients of the latest round of Green Adelaide Grassroots Grants.
More than $1 million in Green Adelaide Grassroots Grants have been awarded for projects around greater Adelaide.
Friends of Aldinga Scrub received a grant to undertake weed control in Aldinga Conservation Park next year.
Nature Glenelg Trust also received a grant for the next steps towards hydrological restoration of the Aldinga Washpool.
Brenton Grear, Director, Green Adelaide, says successful projects include building on past success stories to scale up projects for a bigger impact, as well as investing in new innovative initiatives, like holistic bush care efforts.
“The Grassroots Grants continue to support individuals and community groups in making a difference for our local environment in practical ways.”
A total of 161 projects have been funded over the last three years.
